Good 8" dial wheel barometer by Ingram of Lincoln, c.1830.
The line inlaid edge strung is veneered in figured mahogany veneer and fitted with a swan neck pediment above the hygrometer, long spirit filled thermometer 8" main dial and very well engraved level dial at the base, all the dials are engraved silvered brass. The main 8" diameter main dial is engraved with the maker's name 'L. Ingram, Lincoln'.
L. Ingram is listed as known to have been working from 239 High Street, Lincoln.
